Scope of works

** Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment. ** **1: External Bell non-operational. After investigation, we have found that both the existing external bell has failed as wee as the cabling from the Fire Panel to the bell has damage on it and is in a shorted state. Due to these items, the most cost-effective solution to rectify this required bell is to install a new bell/strobe directly outside the Fire Panel location above the final exit door in Brisbane Street. We will also need to install new cabling from this location to the Fire Panel to connect. In our quotation, we have allowed for the following works; * Installation of 1 x new 24 vdc External Strobe with required signage and backing plate. * Installation of new fire cabling between this new strobe and the Fire Panel. * Connection to the Fire Panel and functional testing to confirm correct operation.** **2: Fire Alarm Block Plan Requires updating: As previously advised, the existing Fire Alarm Block Plan is non-compliant and does not have all required information on it. It is also not constructed from water and fade resistant materials which is a requirement under AS1670.1. In our quotation, we have allowed for the following; * Markup of a new Fire Alarm Block Plan. * CAD based artwork for the production of this Fire Alarm Block Plan. * Printing on 3mm A.C.M. - A3 size with a U.V. stabilised coating to protect Plan. * Removal and disposal of the old existing non-compliant Fire Alarm Block Plan and installation of the new Block Plan in the old Plans location. Unless specifically noted above, or stated/included within our Scope of Works, the following inclusions, Exclusions, Notes and Conditions will apply:** **3: Evacuation System - Site has Bells only: The current Evacuation system installed on site only has 1 x bell on each Level to alert if a Fire Alarm activation occurs. We propose to remove these bells and install Evacuation Speakers in the locations and connect the cabling to the existing Evacuation Control Amplifier inside the Fire Panel. Please advise if you would like a separate quotation for these works. By conducting these works, it would give the site the capability to make Public Address announcements through this system instead of just bells ringing. The existing configuration is very old and antiquated. We strongly recommend that these works be conducted.in an attempt to bring the sites systems up to a somewhat modern state. In this quotation we have not made any allowance for conducting these works.** INCLUSIONS: • Labour during Leading Fire Services normal working hours (7.00am to 4.00pm Mon to Fri, excluding Public Holidays).
